Ok today is all about shape. In basketball you gotta be able to run if you cant, you wont last long. So while your waitin on the season to role around get out and run if anything else. Start a routine of things other than just ball handling and shooting(which should be in your routine always).
Requires:Jump Rope, open ground preferably flat but i dont have flat ground cause of where i live, of course basketball for main idea, water and appropriate close, weights
    Routine Idea:
    1.Stretch
2.Jog a little not to much though.
3.Pick up a jump rope. This sounds easy but its hard to get the timing down, try keeping your feet close together it helps. Go throw double jumps and 1 leg at a time jumps do like 25 of each type. Do it backwards as well. After this try shooting some free throws or some jump shots if you want.
4.Sprint open area try doin lengths the equivalent of 5 full court sprints.(shoot some more after this or handle a little)
5.Situps do 75, 25 straight up, 25 twisting body to the right on the way up, 25 twisting left. (shoot a little)
6.Push ups and do as many as possible.
    7. time for the fun part, run for 8 minutes
    8. stretch yourself a little more after your done for a cool down.

O.K. today is all about defense.
Ok lets set up the basic principal of defense, eyes open, ball and man, get the ball back.
If you are playin a team slower than you try running a man. If they are slow but can handle keep them in front of you and don't give them the paint. Use your speed to step up and take the ball. Odds say that a good man defense will tire them out and they will get lazy. One bad pass and boom you get up and catch it. If they can't handle that well or have one ball handler run a trap, keep two guys back just in case they beat it by passing out. It is easy to get in a rush when you are being pressed so if you are faster team you can exploit it.
If the guys are big and rather fast you don't have much hope for a man defnse. So you go to the zone. If they have big men you gotta front ball side usin a 2-3, the most basic zone there is. Bottom men have to cover outside shots but the center can get in and get a hand in the passing lane of the big man and the other post has back side. If they can't shoot that well you dont have to play so tight on them with the posts. But if they are smaller and can can shoot well from the perimeter, use the 3-2. Cover the outside and have your guards slide down but the key in this defense is you gotta have help. It is easy to break for quick guys who can shoot in the paint. More of this later.
Ok i been doin power point all day and it sucks (i did go to church) i really cant wait for it to be done and annie if u read this i am probably gonna talk bout basketball most days sorry lol. im gotta find a date for prom but not like i care. ok im gonna finish power point.
